Saatva’s Loom & Leaf Mattress Materials

A breathable cover is the top mattress layer. Made of organic cotton, it is designed to cushion the body for comfort while also encouraging good airflow for a cooler sleep. Its Lumbar Zone® Quilting is designed for lower back support too.

Beneath the cover, the Loom & Leaf mattress uses high-density foam. There are several premium memory foam layers.The second layer features an exclusive gel-infused memory foam lumbar crown, offering extra back support and durability in the mattress middle. 

Beneath it is a 2-inch breathable, cooling foam layer, followed by a 2.5-inch 5-lb high-density memory foam core that offers supportive comfort. The fifth layer is 2-inch transitional foam, with a 5.5-inch foam base beneath it for overall stability and durability. The Loom & Leaf Mattress is 12 inches high in total, with six layers.

Loom & Leaf Material and Design Benefits

This mattress has six layers that work off one another to provide healthy comfort. Let’s start with the 5-lb memory foam layer that hugs the body to offer support, with chiropractic-related certifications. It is endorsed by the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) and has a Congress of Chiropractic State Association Seal of Approval. An ACA endorsement follows testing to ensure the mattress has high levels of spinal support and pressure relief.

As for the cooling gel-infused memory foam layer, it has tiny perforations to improve breathability while also countouring to the body to provide pressure relief for some people.

As for the gel-infused memory foam lumbar crown, it offers good air circulation by relieving pressure points, in addition to encouraging proper spinal alignment in a range of sleeping positions and extra lower back support. 

As for the high-quality 5-lb memory foam layer, it stays naturally cool. The Loom & Leaf mattress foams are sourced from the US, and the 5 lb foam is denser than many brands.
